Rural Nutrition Program Appeal

Jordan's Principle - Indigenous Services Canada - has denied funding for our Rural Nutrition Program, leaving Yukon kids in communities without food programs. We received the denial letter 2 weeks into the school year and had to let the communities know that there won't be 2 hot meals and snacks for their kids anymore. It's heart-breaking, it's unjust, and we're going to fight this until it is reinstated.

We’re appealing the decision and need your help to save the Rural Nutrition Program. If you can, please write a letter of support or DOWNLOAD SUPPORT LETTER TEMPLATE. Please edit and rewrite and email your letter to nutrition@yfned.ca. We will submit to Jordan’s Principle.
